Jeunesse® Is the Only Direct Selling Company on the 2016 Inc. 500 List

Aug 23, 2016 | Awards

With an impressive three-year growth rate of 791 percent, Jeunesse was the only direct selling company to rank in the 2016 Inc. 500 list of the fastest-growing companies in America. This marks Jeunesse as the fastest-growing privately held company in the $36 billion U.S. direct selling industry. Jeunesse ranked as number 481 among all 6.5 million private companies in the country. Jeunesse is also the only direct selling company to have maintained a top tier ranking (in the top 11 percent of the 5000 list) for three consecutive years. On the subset Inc. 500 list by metro area, Jeunesse ranked as the sixth fastest-growing private company in the Orlando, Florida area.

Jeunesse also has the distinction of being the only company, in any industry, on the Inc. 500 this year to have achieved billion-dollar annual sales, which is noteworthy as it is rare for a billion-dollar company to appear in the top 500. Jeunesse is one of only nine companies to do so in the list’s 35-year history.

This milestone follows 2015 achievements of reaching $1 billion in annual global sales and garnering a multitude of corporate business awards including Stevie® Awards for Company of the Year and Fastest Growing Company of the Year in both the American Business AwardsSM and International Business AwardsSM.

The Inc. 500/5000 is the most prestigious ranking of the nation’s fastest-growing private companies. The list represents a unique look at the most successful companies within the American economy’s most dynamic segment — its independent businesses. Companies such as Microsoft, Dell, Domino’s Pizza, Pandora, Timberland, LinkedIn, Yelp, Zillow and many other well-known names gained their first national exposure as Inc. 5000 honorees.

“The Inc. 500 is a prestigious collection of amazing privately held American companies, and we are honored to be ranked among them. Our success has been rooted in the efforts of our family of Jeunesse Distributors, executives and employees around the world who have collectively contributed to the company’s accomplishments. We are proud of this achievement and excited for what the future holds for Jeunesse,” commented Jeunesse Chief Visionary Officer, Scott Lewis.

Jeunesse will be featured along with the other top 500 companies on the prestigious list in the September issue of Inc. that will be hitting newsstands August 23, 2016. This year’s list is the most competitive crop in Inc. 5000 history, with an average three-year growth rate of 433%. The Inc. 5000’s aggregate revenue is $200 billion, and the companies on the list collectively generated 640,000 jobs over the past three years, or about 8% of all jobs created in the entire economy during that period.
